Tanya Dubnicoff: Athlete, Coach, Mentor

Honoured as one of Canada’s most outstanding National Team Coaches, Olympic medal-winning coach Tanya Dubnicoff began as a World Class athlete herself.

As a Sprint Cyclist

Tanya represented Canada at 3 Olympic games, won a World Championship title, and held the world record in her event. After Tanya’s retirement as an athlete in 2000, her passion for the sport led her to coaching, where she felt she could share her knowledge and experience with upcoming athletes and give them everything they needed for success. Tanya spent the next 13 years building cycling programs in Canada and the United States.

As an Olympic Coach

Tanya’s versatility as a coach has allowed her to become involved with all age groups and cycling disciplines. For a decade, she was the only female coach at the international level. She has helped athletes of all levels achieve success and has guided them to National Championships and World Championships. Tanya coached at two Olympic Games, and in 2012, Tanya led her program to win a bronze medal in Women’s Team Pursuit for Team Canada at the London Olympics.

As an Executive Coach & Keynote Speaker

Post-Olympics, Tanya has shifted gears from assisting athletes in competitive sport to sharing her gifts for building relationships and achieving success through facilitating, public speaking, and executive coaching.
